Leaders & Heroes
The mission of the Military History Museum is to immerse students in the true stories of bravery and sacrifice of our veterans. We are committed to educating future generations through our impactful classroom presentations, “Leaders and Heroes of Valor.”
Our Mission
The mission of the Military History Museum is to immerse students in the true stories of bravery and sacrifice of our veterans. School students will be presented with a 45-minute classroom presentation of the “Leaders and Heroes of Valor” program. Knowledgeable museum instructors will spark critical thinking through discussions about the causes and consequences of conflict, technological advancements, and the impact of war on society. As with all educational programs, the museum’s mission is to inspire curiosity and appreciation for the sacrifices made by those who served and are still serving our country.
Our Objective
The objective is to make history come alive through interactive activities and true storytelling. Foster critical thinking skills and encourage thoughtful discussion. Inspire curiosity and appreciation for the sacrifices made by our veterans who some gave away their tomorrows for our todays. Our youth of today will know why our country’s soldiers’ lives were lost for our nation’s freedom and that they will not ever be forgotten.
Our Financial Goal
The Military History Museum is excited to announce a new initiative to bring history directly to communities: a mobile museum. We are seeking partnerships with sponsors and potential donors to help us launch this innovative project.
Our goal is to raise $80,000 to purchase a mobile trailer museum and a Humvee to transport it. This mobile museum will allow us to share our extensive collection of military artifacts, stories of valor, and educational programs with schools, community centers, and events across the region.
Your support will help us make history accessible to everyone, fostering a deeper appreciation for our military heritage. Together, we can preserve and honor the stories of our nation’s heroes.
Our Programs
Leaders and Heroes Of Valor at Schools
At the Military History Museum, we are committed to educating future generations through our impactful classroom presentations, “Leaders and Heroes of Valor.” These 45-minute sessions offer students a deep dive into the stories and artifacts of those who led our troops in the fight against tyranny and for freedom. Through these presentations, students learn that freedom comes with personal sacrifice.
Veterans
The Military History Museum will have a working collaboration with local veteran organizations on assisting the museum with artifact preparation and maintenance. Museum military veterans currently assist with school presentations and military parades.
